Universal Studios & Disneyland

I finally ended my 2 weeks of training! It was nice to relax this weekend and enjoy the parks. Me, Kristin, Kira, Alex and his friend Jake all went to Disneyland on Saturday. Everyone except for Kira went to Universal Studios on Friday. We had a good ol' time.

At Universal, we rode the new Simpson's ride, which was awesome!! It is a "motion" ride but I came out fine. Kris, however, looked like she was about
to spew. I did have to close my eyes a couple times to avoid getting the dreaded motion sickness. We also did the Jurrasic Park ride and at the end of it me and Kristin got a face full of water. We got friggin' drenched. I was wearing a white shirt and all the girls kept flirting with me.

Ticket to Disneyland = $66. Wheelchair rental = $0. Picture of me getting mugged by Goofy = Priceless.

Anywho...Universal was fun but not a place where I could spend more than one day and would be fine visiting there once every 4 years. Disneyland is a little different.

When we arrived at Disneyland, we did the wheelchair thing so we could get to the front of the line every time. It worked like a charm! Am I proud of scamming D-land by getting a wheelchair? Not at all. It just made the experience that much memorable and hilarious.

I was the first in the chair and the first character I saw was Goofy. I got a great picture of me getting mugged by the dog as I sat in the wheelchair.

We also investigated the "Club 33" which is the secret club in Disneyland where only the rich and famous can get in. Membership is only around $25,000 a year and there is a 10 year waiting list. I wrote a paper about it for a class.

You are evil! I can't believe you used a wheelchair! I've always secretly wanted to do that but didn't dare. Did it really work???
