The fam spent the 4th of July Holiday weekend in our traditional place of Sun Valley, Idaho. I had some vacation time to burn so we left Tuesday and stayed until Sunday. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. My favorite times were swimming and fishing. We stayed in Sun Valley for the fireworks on the 4th instead of Hailey, which is where we usually go. It was a short and disappointing show. We stayed up until 11:00pm to see them and it just wasn't worth it. Oh well, the kids still enjoyed it. As anyone in my family knows, I've always enjoyed fireworks. I used to put on a "big" show for my family. Next year I'm taking a trip to Wyoming for the good stuff! Try to catch me coppers!

what no pictures of the locals in the river while you were "fishing"!! looks like you guys had fun, and yeah we'll go fishing, you have to hook the worms though!

you guys should come to OC for the 4th sometime. irvine has a fireworks show that goes on forever. they even make the word "USA" and a flag out of sparklers during the show. cheap thrill i tell ya!
